Directions

  1. 1. Mix salt, paprika, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, and cumin. Rub all over the pork.
  2. 2. Put pork in the slow cooker. Add apple juice, vinegar, and Worcestershire around the meat.
  3. 3. Cook on LOW 8 to 10 hours until it shreds easily.
  4. 4. Remove excess fat and shred the meat.
  5. 5. Toss with barbecue sauce and enough cooking juices to keep it moist.

Keep raw pork refrigerated. Whole-cut pork should reach 145°F with a 3-minute rest; ground pork/sausage should reach 160°F. Refrigerate leftovers promptly.
